We’re in a major restructuring process right now--we're figuring out what's next for the Red Tent Women's Project now that we're nomadic.
But first, we have a new mission!!
The Red Tent Women’s Project is a diverse and dynamic community of women who are catalysts for social change. By creating safe and empowered spaces we facilitate community building, information and resource exchange, and personal growth for women and girls.
How are we going to do that?
The ways we're going about meeting that mission are: creating the ultimate social networking website for women to share resources, information, and create community; finding spaces (in NYC...and elsewhere! Very exciting!) to hold amazing workshops and info sessions to empower women and girls of all backgrounds; and planning a volunteer trip later this year to New Orleans.
We're going to need people to help us work out the kinks in our new social networking website. If you want to help us out, let us know!
